Today, I am rounding up my 10 most loved make-up products. While this list runs long and I use majority of the products all year around, I decided these deserve top 10.
Dark Circle Corrector
I use the one in colour Medium. It has a subtle hint of orange which counteracts the appearance of dark circles while natural skin-toned pigments work in unison to provide the ultimate coverage. It is perfect to cover the age old issue of dark circles and it won’t break the bank. I use this under my concealer (see below)
I use this in the shade 35 H Medium Honey. It has peach undertones and once again is perfect for covering up dark circles, sun spots and other blemishes.
24 hour wear, matte foundation. I wear it in the shade Honey Bronze 4W1. I swear by the foundation. I have tried various different foundations but this one is by far my favourite. I love that it’s matte as it gives a flawless and natural finish. It’s lightweight but still stays in place ALL DAY LONG! I don’t even need to touch up. It’s often tricky to find a foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly but this one does and it’s almost exactly my skin tone which I love! I also use very little and it goes a long way making my make-up last longer!
I use the colour ash brown or deep brown. I know this is not very popular but I’ve used it for a while and I like that it’s easy and simple. It is also water-resistant, doesn’t smudge, you won’t sweat through it and it stays on all day! I used a small angled brush to apply this on, much like the popular Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade but easier to apply and lasts a long time!
Pro tip: Even if you have jet black brows, use a dark brown colour as using black makes your brows look very unnatural.
I wear it in the shade “Layin’ Low”. I use this as my eyeshadow primer. It’s so creamy, easily blendable and makes sure my eyeshadow stays crease resistant. Also, it last a very long time! It can be worn on its own as an eye shadow as it is very natural looking but I like to wear some eyeshadow on top of it too. I have used other eyeshadow primers and this is one of my favourites!
Eyeshadow Palette 1:
These palettes from Morphe have been some of my favourites lately! While I like a ton of other palettes from Morphe, these are my go to. They are so beautifully pigmented, goes on so well and I love the variety of colours in each palette. And they are super affordable!
Eyeshadow Palette 2:
Anastasia Beverly Hills
This is simply a must-have. I love this brand because of it’s highly pigmented colours, stunning variety and vibrant rich colours. Every girl needs one of these palettes. And it complements all skin tones which is amazing.
Contour and Highlight
A highlight and contour palette with six pigmented powder and cream shades to create perfectly glowing, chiseled looks on every skin tone, without the icky, bad stuff. I swear by this palette, one of my fav finds. It really is great for every skin tone and it’s so smooth and easy to apply. And it’s a great quality palette too.
This is one of my recent favourite drug store finds. I use it in the shade Luminoso. Finding a blush for my skin tone can be hard but this one is great for me. It’s pretty and affordable. It is richly pigmented and highly buildable, the beautiful matte and shimmery shades of Baked Blush are the perfect pop of color for every skin tone.
A talc-free powder infused with a soothing green tea complex that instantly sets makeup while delivering a translucent finish. This beautiful wonder of a setting powder prolongs your make-up wear and gets rid of fine lines while minimizing shine. It gets rid of any harsh lines under the eyes and even smile lines. Plus it is clean at Sephora.
Make-up setting spray
This lightweight miracle setting spray keeps your make-up set all day long. It’s another one of my holy grail products. Whether you’re in hot humid weather or in cold freezing winter, this setting spray keeps your make-up on for upto 16 hours! It’s neither sticky not tight and you barely notice it on your skin.
That’s it for today. I have so many other wonderful products I could add to this list but these are my top 10 and ones I find myself coming back to often.
